Two Russian Tourists Ride in Bali Fall to a Gap of 10 Meters

Id Nasional. Bad luck experienced by two tourists from Russia. Known tourists named Sergey Neginskiy (30) and Alena Veronina (28) fell into a ravine while riding a motorcycle in Blimbing Sari Pecatu, South Kuta District, Badung Regency. Allegedly they lost control so they fell into a chasm as deep as ten meters.

Luckily their lives did not float despite getting serious injuries. The Denpasar Search and Relief Office at around 13.40 WITA received a report from Tutik who was a South Kuta Puskesman staff member asking for help evacuating the victims.

A rescue team consisting of 12 personnel immediately moved quickly to the location. Once arrived, the Basarnas rescue team immediately carried out first aid by giving low pressure oxygen. This was done because the victim was experiencing shortness and difficulty breathing.

"Then the victim was evacuated using a basketball stretcher from the bottom of the ravine with a depth of about 10 meters heading up," said Head of the Search and Relief Section of the Search and Relief Office of Denpasar, Ida Bagus Surya Wirawan in Bali, Wednesday 9 January 2019.

Because the terrain is quite heavy, the evacuation takes up to an hour. But the two victims were successfully evacuated and then referred to the nearest hospital. "The two victims survived with the condition that one of the victims was injured in the movement and the other was injured" he said.

Next the victim was taken to the Nusa Dua BIMC Hospital to undergo treatment.
