Sandiaga Ensures No Surprise from Them at the Presidential Election Debate April 17, 2019 Upcoming

Candidate pair Vice President 02, Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Uno continue to explore each topic or issue that will be discussed in the first debate of the 2019 Presidential Election held by the General Election Commission (KPU) this month. The candidate pair of Prabowo-Sandi is said to be exploring all the issues discussed starting from law enforcement, human rights and eradicating corruption

"In the next few days we will fill with several sessions with the material team and we will explore each topic starting from law, human rights, terrorism, in terms of corruption as well," said Sandiaga at Prabowo-Sandi National Secretariat, Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto, Wednesday 9 January 2019.

The former Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta admitted that in the deepening of this material, the weighting division would be more focused on Prabowo as a candidate for President. He estimates that there will be a 2/3 portion for Prabowo while he will fill the rest.

"Because people want to hear directly from Mr. Prabowo, directly from the candidate pairs, whatever becomes clear thoughts and ideas (will) show the difference, differentiation," he said.

Moreover, he said, there was no element of surprise that would be prepared for the first debate of the presidential election later. According to him, at this time the community wants a deepening of the thoughts offered by the candidate pairs.

Sandi also stressed that if the element of surprise, especially the attempt to bring down the opponent, would not be a preparation for the debate held on January 17, 2019.

"The possibility that we will ask has been discussed a lot. It is possible whether there are topics that are juxtaposed with real examples, with those in the field. It might also be brought to raise relevance rather than our discussion. Because our discussion should be authentic , relevant, and able to present solutions. That's our hope, "he said.
